Job Description

Areas USA is now hiring a Manager of Talent Acquisition and Development for a national retail and restaurant concessions management company based in Miami. We are looking for a responsible, team-oriented person. This Position is responsible for recruiting coordination of upper management for operations and corporate offices across the nation. In addition this position is also responsible for monitoring managers' on-boarding training over the first 90 days of employment as well as initiating Individual Development Plans following completion. Additionally, the incumbent also supports the HR Managers and Operations with middle management and hourly staff recruitment when needed. Candidate must be able to pass a background checks.   • Schedules, helps coordinate and attends job/career fairs with local appropriate staff as a source to generate qualified applicants as needed.
  • Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants. Screens, interviews, and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for on- site interviewing.
  • Provides initial screening to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements.
  • Arranges travel and lodging for applicants, if necessary.
  • Arranges brand training for onboarding managers as well as corporate training as applicable.
  • Conducts reference and background checks.
  • Develops and conducts training programs for managers designed to improve recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reduce turnover.
  • Researches, analyzes, prepares and presents hiring statistics.
  • Corresponds with job applicants to notify them of opportunities.
  • Maintains records on recruiting activities as required.
  • Participates in development of annual recruiting budget.
  • Responsible for creation and updates to the Onboarding Development Matrix.
  • Works with the operations teams with employee On-boarding Training Program as well as Individual Development Plan Program.
  • Conducts monthly check-ins with all new hires for first 90 days providing feedback to supervisors and training managers.
  • Acts as Areas representative for Elior Talents Program and is responsible for the administration of all campaigns including annual reviews, objectives review and talent grid assessment.as well as representative for annual conference.
  • Rolls out and administers training portals and other educational tools such as Franklin Covey Passport Program for professional development and succession planning.
  • Maintains all company Organizational Charts.

  • Other projects as assigned by the Director of HR and/or the VP of HR.

    Job Requirements

    1. Bachelor's degree. 2. 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry. 3. Multi tasking ability to manage multiple projects. 4. Organized with attention to detail. 5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 6. Computer proficiency: Word and Excel.
